Summary
I led the user experience design for the companion app of Silvertree Reach, a wrist-worn safety wearable tailored for active older adults and their caregivers.
The app’s functionality encompasses activity and location tracking, health monitoring, safety features such as direct communication with emergency services or caregivers, wellness reminders, device management, and a unique feature for sending virtual "hugs" to foster connection.
Process highlights:
1. Distilled market research to derive actionable insights for UX design.
2. Brainstormed, designed, and implemented features to encourage users to complete the setup process and engage with the app regularly.
3. Designed a comprehensive set of detailed wireframes, incorporating variables and conditional logic to simulate various user flows and choices.
4. Created prototypes for user testing purposes.
Deliverables:
1. User flows
